Several Injured as In-Flight Disturbance Impacts Delta Flight Landing at Sydney, Australia

Delta Airlines stated the Airbus A350 encountered "brief turbulence" as it touched down at Sydney Airport.

Multiple passengers and crew have been injured after a Delta Airlines aircraft traveling from LA to Sydney encountered turbulence on Friday morning.

Flight DL41 "went through a short bout of rough air" as it made its approach and landed at Sydney Airport, a representative for the carrier informed. Several cabin crew members sustained injuries.

Local paramedics stated they evaluated five patients, and took a trio to the hospital with relatively minor issues that such as pain in the back and migraines. The patients' ages ranged from their 30s up to the 70s.
