President Trump stated on Sunday that he has extended an invitation the loved ones of a Guard member fatally shot last week to attend the White House.

He noted that he conversed with her parents and they were “deeply grieving”.

Specialist Beckstrom, 20, was lost her life in a violent incident on Wednesday in Washington DC.

Her comrade, US air force staff Sgt Andrew Wolfe, twenty-four years old, remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Law enforcement have accused a 29-year-old individual from Afghanistan with one count of homicide and charges of attempted murder while carrying a weapon.
