Musician D4vd Reportedly Identified as Person of Interest in Death of Adolescent Found in Tesla
The artist known as D4vd became listed as a individual under scrutiny in the tragic passing of Celeste Rivas, a teenager who went missing and was later located deceased inside the artist's Tesla automobile this past fall, according to law enforcement.
Finding of the Remains
The deteriorated remains of Rivas, fifteen, was located in the fall inside the front storage compartment of a black Tesla owned by D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. This automobile had been ticketed in a Los Angeles neighborhood and then impounded at a tow yard in the city.
Timeline of Occurrences
Investigators theorize that Rivas probably died in the springtime, adding that D4vd had probably helped in dismantling and discarding the body. The artist has not been cooperative in the investigation, as stated by a law enforcement insider.
This adolescent Rivas was initially reported missing from a city 60 miles from Los Angeles in April 2024. The corpse was subsequently located in the musician's Tesla after staff at Hollywood Tow notified a foul smell coming from the car.

This cause of death has not yet been ascertained, but the medical examiner's office commented that Rivas likely was deceased inside the vehicle for an extended period before being found.” Law enforcement are considering her passing as a suspicious death.
Context on D4vd
The Houston-born singer had been given a violation in the Los Angeles neighborhood just 11 days before Rivas was found in the vehicle, after exceeding the three-day parking limit. Locals in the area stated that the Tesla had been stationed in the area for more than 30 days.
Celeste's sibling stated that the family was knowledgeable that Rivas was acquainted with the singer and that she was headed to watch a film with him just before she went missing.
D4vd, referred to as “David,” is a NY-native musician recognized for the chart-toppers “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” D4vd and his manager were living at a Los Angeles property in the Hollywood area in this past autumn, as stated by the home's proprietor, until authorities entered the property.
D4vd has partnered with Darkroom and Interscope. The artist was traveling for performances at the time Rivas's body were located, but cancelled those shows following the discovery of Rivas's body.
