Liverpool's Star Issues Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Reveals Curtis Jones
Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the group of players after the uproar from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a vital match following voicing frustrations and claiming his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I apologise.’”
The manager has refused to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the veteran striker.

He emphasized that the team's response stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
Jones also implied that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “It's clear there are certain ways you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

The team's performance have remained strong in the games following the situation. He feels the outburst were not intended to harm the team.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a desire to win,” he finished. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, playing well and securing victories.”
