Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Arrives Tomorrow as a F2P Game Mode

Following months of anticipation, the BR mode for BF6 is finally launching. Recent speculation claiming its arrival would align with the first season were true. Fans can access the gameplay starting in just a day.

Season 1 Introducing a Fresh Location, Style, and Weapons

Together with the BR mode, the new season is also beginning. This adds a brand-new arena, a new mode, and new weapons. On top of that, this new sector is being introduced. An included teaser will be released at go-live, providing fans a taste of what's to come.

Free-to-Play Structure Enables the Mode Available to Everyone

Maybe the biggest detail is that this new experience will be free-to-play. Much like other offerings, you do not need to buy the base game to play. A number of participants have already tested pre-release builds of the mode. These trials were held in Battlefield Labs, which the studio described as their biggest community collaboration project.

The adrenaline rush when facing enemy players can't be found in different battle royale. It feels a true survival situation, and you actually care if you make it or not.
Despite being a skeptic previously, I'm completely supportive of the battle royale since trying it.

These first impressions from players have been extremely encouraging. Certainly, the mode may have evolved over the past couple of months in terms of game balance and speed. But, first impressions are positive that Redsec could emerge as a genuine rival to popular games. Players are expecting that the best guns from the main game will carry over in the BR.
